1. General description 

The F8004 are the new NFC forum compliant Type 2 tag productsdeveloped by FEIJU Microelectronics for applications in electronics (i.e. connectionhandover, Bluetooth simple pairing, Wi-Fi Protected set-up, device authentication, gamingand others) . 

On top of offering a small range of User memory (48bytes), The F8004 product family is designed to fully comply to NFC Forum Type 2 Tagand ISO/IEC14443 Type Aspecifications. 


1.1 Contactless energy and data transfer 

Communication to F8004 can be established only when the IC is connected to anantenna. Form and specification of the antenna is out of scope of this document. When F8004 is positioned in the RF field, the high speed RF communicationinterface allows the transmission of the data with a baud rate of 106 kbit/s.

Manufacturer programmed 7-byte UID for each device

1.4 NFC Forum Tag 2 Type compliance 

F8004 IC provides full compliance to the NFC Forum Tag 2 Type technical specification and enables NDEF data structure configurations. 


1.5 Anticollision 

An intelligent anticollision function allows to operate more than one tag in the fieldsimultaneously. The anticollision algorithm selects each tag individually and ensures that the execution of a transaction with a selected tag is performed correctly withoutinterference from another tag in the field.

2. Product Overview 


2.1 Introduction 

F8004 is NFC Forum Type 2 Tag compliant IC according to ISO14443 Type A development by Shanghai Feiju Microelectronics Co., Ltd. The F8004 chip consists of the 64 bytes of the total memory organized in 12 usermemory EEPROM. From that amount, 48 bytes (12 pages) are available for the userdefined data. 

 Along with the memory, F8004 contains the RF-Interface and the Digital Control Unit. Energy and data are transferred via an antenna, which consists of a coil with a few turns directly connected to the RF1 and RF2 of the F8004. No furtherexternal components are necessary.
