The F8215 are the new NFC forum compliant Type 2 tag products developed by FEIJU Microelectronics for applications in electronics (i.e. connection handover, Bluetooth simple pairing, Wi-Fi Protected set up, device authentication, gaming and others) .
On top of offering a large range of User memory ( 504 bytes ), the FAST_READ command and a configurable password protection.
The F8215 product family is designed to fully comply to NFC Forum Type 2 Tag and ISO/IEC 888 43 Type A specifications.
1.1 Contactless energy and data transfer
Communication to F8215 can be established only when the IC is connected to an antenna.
Form and specification of the antenna is out of scope of this document.
When F8215 is positioned in the RF field, the high speed RF communication interfac e allows
the transmission of the data with a baud rate of 106 kbit/s.
1.2 Simple deployment and user convenience
F8215 offers specific features designed to improve integration and user convenience:
• The fast read capability allows to scan the complete NDEF message with only one FAST_READ command, thus reducing the communication time overhead
• The improved RF performance allows for more flexibility in the choice of shape, dimension and materials

1.4 NFC Forum Tag 2 Type compliance
F8215 IC provides full compliance to the NFC Forum Tag 2 Type technical specification and specification and enables NDEF data structure configurations.
1.5 Anticollision
An intelligent anticollision function allows to operate more than one tag in the field simultaneously. The anticollision algorithm selects each tag individually and ensures that the execution of a transaction with a selected tag is performed correctly without interference from another tag in the field.

2. Product Overview
2.1 Introduction
F8215 is NFC Forum Type 2 Tag compliant IC according to ISO14443 Type A development by Shanghai Feiju Microelectronics Co., Ltd. The F8215 chip consists of the 168 bytes of the total memory organized in 228 user memory EEPROM. From that amount, 504 bytes (126 pages) are available for the user defined data.
Along with the memory, F8215 contains the RF-Interface and the Digital Control Unit. Energy and data are transferred via an antenna, which consists of a coil with a few turns directly connected to the RF1 and RF2 of the F8215. No further external components are necessary.
